New for 2019 on the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) with Holly Macleod in the Gili Islands

IDC

The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) with Holly Macleod in the Gili Islands, Indonesia is already seen as the ultimate place for Divemater’s to train as professional Scuba Diving Instructors and continues to improve and develop as time goes by.

The PADI Scuba Diving Instructor Development Course in Gili Trawangan is fully conducted by Holly Macleod one of the best PADI Course Directors within the entire global diving Industry and has purposely been designed to provide a level of training way over and above that generally found within the recreational diving Industry. Course content is continuously adapted whilst taking into account all of the latest up to date training bulletins and recommended training sequences as dictated by PADI the professional association of recreational divers.

Over the past couple of years the essential basic structure of the course has stayed pretty much the same and is made up of the basic standards, requirements and recommendations for conducting the PADI Instructor Development Course, but also consists of a range of additional workshops specifically designed to develop candidates ability to effectively teach their own students in the best possible way whilst also projecting individual characteristics in a comfortable and safe environment.

Specific experience based workshops have been purposely designed and developed by Holly, which draw upon her own personal experience within the diving industry. The aim of these workshops is to give candidates some ideas on how they should organize and conduct training activities in respect of fun, safety and educational efficiency. Platinum PADI Course Director Holly has over 15 year’s experience working within the recreational diving industry in a range of different geographical diving destinations and has experienced many occasions where this type of workshop would have been useful. Another workshop is a Paperwork and Admin session, which is not technically part of the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), but is another additional session added to the program so as new instructors will know where to find the relevant forms online, what they look like and how to process students. The DSD Workshop is another one which has been extended and developed by introducing more effective ways to control new student divers in confined and in Open Water. A range of additional workshops are actually designed in a role play type situation with the idea of developing teamwork abilities whilst also delivering some useful industry tips on conduct and organization. Throughout all sessions and candidate presentations Holly will deliver feedback in way that develops candidate’s educational delivery whilst maintaining personal individual characteristics.
