During a Sidemount Specialty Course student divers will learn how to Properly assemble and configure sidemount scuba diving equipment; Trim your weight system and sidemount gear so you’re perfectly balanced in the water; Manage gas by switching second stages as planned, if wearing two cylinders and Respond correctly to potential problems when sidemount diving. The PADI IDC Gili Islands program is run on and 11 day schedule; however candidates are strongly advised to arrive at least 5 days prior to the start of the program to take advantage of the free pre IDC preparation; which is basically a series of workshops designed to review the Divemaster skills, knowledge and theory and allow candidates to enter the Instructor Course on and equal setting.
