Over the past 18 years Holly has worked in a variety of worldwide destinations including Honduras, Thailand, Australia, UK, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore and has specifically designed a program that incorporates real life personal industry experience.  The program includes the PADI Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRI) Course which takes place approximately midway during the PADI IDC. All components have been designed and scheduled to seamlessly flow in accordance with associated components. With the new schedule candidates need to complete a portion of online learning and EFRI training now takes place directly after the Rescue Diver portion. Although the online segments are designed to replace traditional classroom based topics, Holly still conducts a review whereby personal experience will be applied to these segments providing real life examples.

A whole range of additional workshops outside of the PADI IDC curriculum have also been added to the program intended to strengthen new instructors teaching ability. There is a more focused approach to continuing education including teaching specialty areas of the Advanced Course and the PADI Rescue Diver Course. During the Instructor course candidates are required to learn about PADI standards, teaching techniques and recommended sequences. Holly also will expand this section to discuss Industry standards laid out by the WRSTC, international standards such as ISO/EN/BS and DIN as well as local legislative regulations and how these can work together. Another discussion based workshop includes planning and organizing training activities in a set location with specific environmental and logistical constraints. The great thing is that these locations are based on Hollys own previous experience in real life situations and locations.
